Er…. I was only pretending to sleep…seriously
Sorry for the delay in the update….was dead tired after the dinner on the 2nd day and after driving back to KL on 3rd day I went straight to sleep after dinner….;P
After all the sessions on 2nd Day….. all of them went back to the hotel to change for the dinner & performances. I had to stay back for a while to talk to Shahell & Aoi about the Persidangan Advokasi Diri PDK.
After dinner all of us gathered at the hall to watch the performances. Of course Nazmi & Shahir was going to give a performance..a dance. Nazmi was so excited that he had to ”ordered” me a few days b4 to remember to bring my video cam!
Nazmi & Shahir’s dance…Sharir can really dance!! Not bad they got 2nd place. 1st place went to a member of Bethany Home who did an amazing dance to Micheal Jackson’s “Beat it”…sorry it was to dark to film any video…..Nazmi also did a solo performance singing one of those Korean songs in Malay…Will upload the video later…
After the performances (a lot of dancing & a few singing) and the supporting frens doing the poco poco dance…. we all went back to the hotel…exhausted…as usual! hahaha
2nd day of NSAC… Yippee. Woke up early and and then Fui Kion (Dragon Club) told me she has oledi shower and changed. But have to asked Hidayah(PDK Temenggong) to quickly go shower & change. Of course since it’s Saturday I was excited to be wearing my YELLOW t-shirt! ;P
Breakfast and saw the Leaderonomics team coming in. Torturing session has begun! hahahaha

After lunch…. learning how to “Manage Your Finances”. Each group were given a sack of newspaper and then they hv to built stuff with it…. The paper represents money so the group that uses the least paper will hv more points

Hello….. this is a once every 2 years update on this Blog.
This year the NSAC is held at Teluk Intan and organised by 2 SA groups, Bethany Self-advocacy group & Divine Voice (from Ipoh).
Today morning, 8 of us, Felicia, Cynthia, Nazmi, Lit Whei, Pavala, Sharir, Pn Nareah & I met at Tmn Jaya LRT. Yeah manage to squeeze all 8 of us plus the lug gages into the Avanza…..great car! We drove UV’s van up to Teluk Intan. Reached Bethany Home around 2pm, just in time b4 the session started.
Met a lot of SA frm other groups and the supporting frens. There were the usual clubs that came, even Sibu Agape Club came all the way from Sarawak (unfortunately Kangaroo Club were not able to come) and 20 SA & supporting frens came frm Kelantan

There are 65 participants and 40 over supporting frens! That is a lot of supporting frens… most of them are volunteers of Bethany Home

After tea time we went to visit the Caely’s factory where they hired about 20 PWDs to work there.
Some of the Bethany Home’s members working there doing packaging. The CEO also donated RM3000 to this conference.
Of course must have a visit to the Teluk Intan Clock Tower.
Makan time…. I told Urai san abt the conference and since she is not involved in any SA grps….she came as a volunteer for Bethany Home…. sugoiiii….
After dinner we were are assigned to our rooms to a hotel nearby. I was not very happy with the room arrangement. I ended up in a room with 2 SA frm other grps. I told Jayasingh our grp frm UV is ok…most of them r independant.. but what about those who needs support frm thier own supporting fren? Felicia ended up staying in another hotel but she was with Aoi (JOCV, Kelantan) so it was ok. Anyway….. after all the “organised” chaos we were all settled down in our rooms. Dead tired…driving almost 3 hrs to TI…..went to sleep at 11:30pm….tomolo a long day…..with the Leaderonomics team coming to torture us….hahahahahahahahaha
